Accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS), this career-focused computing degree is designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills demanded by the industry. You will study core areas of software development, including application development, object-oriented programming (Java, C#), and database systems, while also having the opportunity to specialise in areas such as artificial intelligence, ethics, and computer law.
The course emphasises industry-relevant expertise, such as Unified Modelling Language (UML), ASP.NET, and the use of cutting-edge commercial software tools, ensuring you graduate with highly sought-after technical skills.

Academic Requirements
Minimum CCC at A Level or 96 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification (e.g. BTEC National, OCR Diploma, Advanced Diploma).
GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).

English Language Requirements
Applicants requiring a Student visa may need to provide a Secure English Language Test (SELT) such as Academic IELTS, meeting the University’s minimum requirements.
London Met also offers a Pre-sessional Academic English course to help students improve their language proficiency before starting their degree.
This course prepares you for careers in application development, software engineering, IT consultancy, database design, and web development.
