The Computer Networking and Cloud Security BEng equips you with the skills and certifications needed to excel in today’s IT industry. Combining theory with hands-on practice in our state-of-the-art networking and virtual labs, the course offers optional modules and opportunities to gain professional qualifications through Cisco and Palo Alto Networks.
You’ll complete industry-recognised certifications such as CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNA Cyber Operations, and Palo Alto Gateway and Infrastructure Configuration, giving you a competitive edge alongside your degree. The programme is delivered by highly qualified staff with strong industry connections, ensuring practical relevance and career readiness.
Academic Requirements
Grades CCC at A level, or a minimum of 96 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification (e.g., BTEC National, OCR Diploma, Advanced Diploma).
GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).

English Language Requirements
All applicants must demonstrate English proficiency. Students requiring a Student visa may need a Secure English Language Test (SELT), such as IELTS Academic. The University also offers a Pre-sessional Academic English course for those wishing to improve their English prior to enrolment.
