Engage in hands-on learning to design and develop characters and immersive worlds—from initial concept to finished artwork. Develop the skills to create compelling graphical motion and authentic character performances through the Diploma of Creative Arts (Animation).
This program introduces you to foundational drawing and visualization techniques, combines traditional animation methods with cutting-edge motion design, and equips you with essential skills and tools for 3D modeling and animation.
Students will have the opportunity to plan, execute, and present a mentored project aligned with their chosen specialisation, fostering both creative growth and professional development.
Minimum Age:
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age to apply.
Academic Entry Requirements:
Applicants must meet one of the following:
Successful completion of Year 12 in the Australian school system; OR
An equivalent qualification with a Senior Secondary Certificate pass in General English; OR
A comparable qualification, such as:
Certificate IV or higher for Bachelor degree applicants
Certificate III or higher for Diploma applicants; OR
Applicants aged 21 years or older may be eligible for admission under mature-age entry provisions.
English Language Proficiency:
Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving one of the following minimum scores:
IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.0, with no band below 5.5
TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 73, including a minimum writing score of 18
Pearson PTE Academic: Overall score between 50 and 57
Cambridge English (CAE – C1 Advanced): Overall score of 169
