This qualification is intended for individuals serving as senior civil works designers or para-professional designers supporting professional engineers. These professionals undertake a wide range of specialised, complex, and technical tasks, including strategic planning and project initiation activities. They are accountable for designing complex projects that meet clients' site requirements, demonstrating autonomous application of advanced theoretical and technical knowledge, and proactively developing solutions to technical challenges and management needs.
The following 12 units of competency are to be completed to attain this qualification:
