The CHC43121 Certificate IV In Disability requires the completion of the following Units (including 7 core and 3 electives).

Academic Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following academic criteria:
Completion of Australian Year 11 or an equivalent level of schooling; or
Completion of a Certificate III or higher qualification with an Australian institution.
Prerequisite Qualification
In addition, applicants must have completed one of the following:
CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability); or
CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability); or
CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability plus the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set.
Work Placement Eligibility
Applicants must be capable of undertaking a mandatory work placement in an approved aged care, home and community care, disability care, or community service organisation.
Please note: Some applicants may be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment or attend an enrolment interview before admission.
Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.
For students whose first language is not English:
A minimum overall IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent), OR
Successful completion of Abbey College Australia's English entry test.
Upon successful completion of the CHC43121 – Certificate IV in Disability Support, and with relevant industry experience, graduates may be eligible for employment in a variety of roles across the disability and community services sector. Potential job titles include:

This qualification includes a mandatory minimum of 120 hours of practical work placement in a registered and approved disability care or community service organisation.
Work placement enables students to:
Gain hands-on industry experience
Apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting
Develop essential communication and care skills
Build professional connections within the community services sector
Note: Placement arrangements will be coordinated in accordance with the course schedule and in partnership with industry-approved providers.
