KCBT students progressing from SIT40516 Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (Successfully completed the 21 units) will need to complete the following 6 units in this course.
Academic Qualifications
Completion of Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
Successful completion of the KCBT SIT40516 Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
Minimum Age
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrolment.
English Language Proficiency
Applicants are required to demonstrate English proficiency with a minimum overall score of IELTS 5.5, PTE 42, or an equivalent internationally recognised test. Alternatively, proficiency may be demonstrated through the KCBT English Placement Test.
Commercial Cookery Package – 2 Years
Graduates of this qualification can pursue a variety of roles within the hospitality and culinary sectors, including:
Motel Manager
Chef Patissier
Sous Chef
Hospitality Manager
Restaurant Manager
Practical work placement completed as part of the SIT30816 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, specifically the unit SITHCCC020 – Work Effectively as a Cook, will be recognised and credited towards this qualification.
