This trade qualification prepares individuals for carpentry roles within residential and commercial settings. It encompasses skills in planning, manufacturing, constructing, assembling, installing, and repairing products made from both timber and non-timber materials.
Academic Qualifications
Applicants must have satisfactorily completed a minimum of Year 12 (VCE) or an equivalent overseas qualification.
Minimum Age
All international applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
English Language Proficiency
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency by meeting one of the following criteria:
An IELTS overall band score of 5.5 or equivalent, such as TOEFL 197 (PBT) / 46 (iBT), PTE Academic 42, or CAE 47, for direct entry into a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course,
OR
For applicants from Level 1 countries, successful completion of the Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) Test administered by Edinburgh International College.
