The BA (Hons) Marketing and Public Relations degree at CU Coventry is designed to equip students with the knowledge, competencies, and skills essential for success in today's ever-evolving contemporary marketing and PR industries. The course aims to provide an understanding of best practices in the marketing and PR sectors, alongside extensive knowledge of significant marketing functions within core business strategies. Students will have the opportunity to learn skills for the marketing sector and may embark on study trips, as well as mandatory marketing training with local employers and industry experts, subject to additional costs.
The program is structured as follows:
Year 1: Introduction to core marketing and PR principles, including branding, consumer behavior, and communication strategies.
Year 2: Advanced study of marketing strategies, public relations campaigns, and digital marketing tools.
Placement Year: An optional year to gain practical experience in the industry.
Final Year: Focus on strategic marketing management, public relations leadership, and preparation for professional practice.
