This qualification reflects the role of individuals who undertake advanced diagnostic tasks within the automotive retail, service, and repair industry. It equips students with the expertise to accurately diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues in light vehicles.
This course is designed for international students who are:

This qualification comprises 1 core unit and 9 elective units. Successful completion of all units is required to be awarded the qualification.
Applicants must have successfully completed Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
All prospective students are required to participate in a course entry interview to assess their suitability for the program and to identify any individual learning support needs.
International students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrolment.
Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following:
An IELTS score of 5.5 overall (with no band less than 5.0), with results dated within the last two years, or an equivalent recognised English language test score.
Documented evidence of having completed at least five years of education in an English-speaking country.
Successful completion of an approved English Placement Test administered by the institution.
