This qualification consists of a total of 36 units of competency, including:

• 20 core units

• 16 elective units

To be eligible for the award of this qualification, students must successfully complete all required units in accordance with the packaging rules set by the relevant training package.

Academic Entry Requirements

Applicants must have successfully completed Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
In addition, all prospective students are required to attend a course entry interview to assess their suitability for the program and identify any specific learning support needs.

Minimum Age Requirement

International students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of course commencement.

English Language Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following:

• An IELTS score of 5.5 overall*, with no individual band score less than 5.0 (results must be no more than two years old), or an equivalent English language test result.

• Evidence of having completed at least five years of education in an English-speaking country.

• Successful completion of an approved English Placement Test administered by the institution.
