The Enhanced Extended MSc Cyber Security at UWL is designed for students who require additional academic preparation before progressing to a full master’s degree. The program combines foundational IT knowledge with advanced cybersecurity concepts such as ethical hacking, network security, digital forensics, and risk management.
- Extended Phase: Academic skills, foundation modules in IT and computing
- Core Phase: Cyber Security Principles, Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics
- Final Phase: Cyber Security Project / Dissertation
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (IT/Computer Science preferred, flexible entry available)
- Minimum GPA: 2.2 / 4.0 (or equivalent)
- English proficiency: IELTS 6.0–6.5 (depending on entry level)
- Identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
