The MSc Occupational Therapy (pre‑registration) at Keele University is a full‑time, campus‑based postgraduate programme designed to prepare graduates from any academic background for a career as a professional Occupational Therapist. It combines theoretical learning, practical clinical skills and supervised practice placements so that you can work competently and safely with a wide range of clients across health and social care settings.
This course emphasises how meaningful occupation — everyday activities that individuals need and want to do — impacts a person’s health, wellbeing and participation. You’ll learn to assess, plan, implement and evaluate occupation‑based interventions to help people live more independently and participate fully in life.
